Conference
Currently 3 major meeting areas are available for guests:

• Stanislaus Room - fully equipped with
• data projector and sound system. Usually used for liturgy by student retreat groups. A multi-use space which will seat 100 people comfortably.
• Retreat Room - fully equipped with data projector and sound system. Located adjacent to 8 small group discussion rooms. Ideal for student retreat presentations for up to 80. Located on the first floor.
• Baptist Room – fully equipped with data projector and sound system. Located at the front of the original 1906 building. Ideal for adult group presentations and liturgy for up to 50. Located on the first floor.

Accommodation
The Hermitage currently has three different styles of accommodation available for guests:

• Dormitory – normally booked by student retreat groups. Will accommodate up to 80.
• Single Rooms – normally booked by adult groups. Some of these rooms are also available for booking on a ‘twin share’ basis. Will accommodate up to 40 people. Will accommodate up to 60 if occupied on a combination of single-twin.
• Guest Cottages – available for individual and family bookings. Each cottage contains kitchen, living and dining areas. All linen and towels are supplied. There are four cottage style accommodation facilities on the property:
• Garden Cottage: 3 bedrooms w. 2 doubles and one twin share.
• Dom’s Cottage: 3 bedrooms w. 2 doubles and two singles.
• Farm Cottage: 3 bedrooms w. 1 double and two singles.
• Xavier Suite: 3 bedrooms w.1 double and two twin share.

 

Devotional: Chapel of the Visitation
Well worth a visit, the Chapel of the Visitation was fully refurbished in 2006 to mark a century of Marist presence at Mittagong. Originally built in a neo gothic style in 1926, the chapel was the focus of daily prayer and Eucharist for the novice brothers in formation when the Novitiate was here. Today, the chapel is open to pilgrims, guests and visitors for personal prayer and reflection. Guest groups usually arrange to use the chapel as part of their program. Recreational
The Hermitage has a good range of indoor and outdoor recreation areas, make it a suitable site for all weather conditions. Included among the recreational facilities are:

• tennis courts
• basketball court
• ovals
